It’s time to celebrate, let’s crack open the pink fizz and eat cake – Planning Ventures is celebrating its FIRST anniversary!
It’s been a year of excitement and adventure working on new schemes and working with old clients, colleagues and friends and meeting new ones. This last year has seen schemes to upgrade and expand a client’s commercial sites in Avonmouth; altering existing permissions to make sites viable; working with individuals on new homes in the countryside and Greenbelt; dual use applications for redundant retail space; pre apps galore and talking to the public on a range of projects through stakeholder consultation events.
But here at Planning Ventures I passionately believe that it’s not just about the work it’s also important to give back. So this year I’ve become a member of the Conservation Advisory Panel, representing Bristol’s Neighbourhood Planning Network. This followed on from becoming an RTPI appointed Ambassador for their 2014 Centenary Future Planners Initiative.
The dreams for the second year are to expand; continue to do great work and help clients navigate the bureaucracies of the planning system; continue to learn and keep pace with the tidal wave of change that this new Government will undoubtedly unleash; give help to others and organisations in need and most importantly love what we do.
So a huge ‘THANK YOU’ to everyone that has chosen to work with Planning Ventures over the last year and here’s to the next!
