I have a BA Hons in Town & Country Planning (2:1) (UWE, 1996), a Bachelor of Town Planning (UWE 1997) and was part of the ERASMUS programme at the University of Nijmegen (The Netherlands, 1997). I am a Chartered Town Planner and have been a Member of the RTPI since 1999. I am a member of Bristol’s Conservation Advisory Panel, representing the Bristol Neighbourhood Planning Network, a founding Member of the Friends of Jubilee Swimming Pool and the Save Jubilee Swimming Pool campaign and work with One25 as part of their Wonderful Women group.

I am married to an IT guru and have two young children to keep me on my toes! I have a passion for old buildings, derelict spaces, exciting modern architecture, inspiring interiors and beautiful views. I love being outdoors, wild swimming, believe in the power of beautiful flowers and the life-giving force of chocolate.

What clients say about Julie

“Julie has grounded experience in all aspects of the planning world. She’s very knowledgeable and ruthlessly efficient. She’ll steer your planning through. She’s done a great job for me.”

Ian ReidLye Hole Farm

“Jules has an ability not to get too obsessed by the planning and give advice. She understands that an awful lot of planning is about individuals, personalities, politics – these are all arguably more important than just the planning law. It’s managing the people and the process.”
